Getting Read For Summer :)

Well we all know that summer is right around the corner once we finish all of our stressful finals of course. So today I decided I wanted to talk about a few ideas I think we all need to do while living on Oahu for this summer. I'll list them out and in the comments you can let me know what you thing about the list.

1. Beach, of course living on an island we all need to go to the beach to get our color back after getting pale from staying indoors and studying. Visiting such places as Hanauma Bay is a great place to lay out on the beach or go snorkeling with the fishes. Just remember to go early because parking can fill up fast.
2. Waikele Premium Outlet, is a great place to go shopping with a bunch of designer brands and great bargains. I had recently gone there with a few friends and know that they do have great sales. I had gotten a jacket Guess for $80, cologne CK1 for $38, and Godiva chocolates for $14. They have a variety of store you can look through and for those with babies they have lost of baby clothing stores. You should also check out the duty free stores such as the Duty Free Galleria in Waikiki because they also have great sales and their colognes are very cheap for name brands plus theres no tax.

3. Summer jobs, although it doesn't sound like the most fun thing to do its a great way to earn money and meet new people at a new job. Stores are also hiring for the summer and ofter will hire you even if you will be only seasonal hire.

4. Camping, a great way to hang out away from technology and just relax and be one with nature. There is also the other option of renting a hotel room in Waikiki and play tourist for a few days.

5. Traveling, you can take a vacation to a different state, island or even country. For example this summer I am planning to fly to Las Vegas for 5 days.
Below is a video by Daily Grace a well known funny youtuber with more than 2 million subscribers, she gonna give a few ideas of how to not be bored during the summer.

6. Fitness, you can always workout during the summer to achieve the body you want. There are many thing to do like go swimming, hiking, weight training, running and a whole bunch of other activities to get fit. You could also join the local gym at the YMCA or 24 hour fitness.

7. You could also aways have a party at your house and invite all your friends to catch up, especially those who go away for college and are home for the summer.

8. There is always the possibly that you could meet someone during the summer at the clubs also and have a summer time fling just watch our for "summer time sadness" as Lana Del Ray said in her song.

9. Last thing is you could do is take summer school why not get a head in school and try and graduate earlier by taking classes during the summer. This is a great way to make yourself graduate from school faster.

Let me know if you are doing anything interesting during the summer in the comments below and I hope everyone has an awesome summer!

My Free New Camera

So recently I got a Nikon Coolpix S3000 Camera from my friend for free! Its the first ever camera i've owned. Usually I just use my phone for picture of videos, but now since I have this new camera I can take vlogs (video logs) of my trip when i'm in Las Vegas.
Since getting this camera I did some research about it. I'll be giving you a summary about the pros and cons of this camera and my opinion if you are looking for a camera if you should get this model.
The pros of this camera is that it is very small, light weight, easy to operate and inexpensive coming in at only about $165 dollars. The cons are that is has poor low-light photos and inconsistent autofocus. Other than that this camera is great option. The Nikon Coolpix S3000 is an attractive inexpensive ultra compact that's a step above your average camera phone.

Operating the S3000 is easy enough that anyone who handled a digital camera before should be able to start shooting right out of the box. On top is the power button and shutter release with a zoom ring. The camera charges pretty fast in about 2 hours. The battery life is average at 220 shots per charge.

Here is  videos that reviews the Nikon Coolpix S3000.If you are able to decipher the type of scene you're shooting, it may correspond to one of the caner's 14 selectable scene modes. All of the scenes are standards like Portrait and Landscape, and there is a Panorama Assist for lining up a series of shots that can be stitched together with the budge software.

The S3000 is nicely dressed for its price. The ultra compact metal body gives it a higher-quality feel, and its available in many colores. Up from is a wide angle lens with a 4x zoom and in back is a 2.7-inch LCD. Despite its slim body and light weight, the camera is comfortable to hold and use, though with little to grab onto you'll want to use the included wrist strap.
Let me know in the comments below what your favorite color of the Nikon Cool Pix S3000!

Cool Things We All Can Afford

Today I'm going to be talking about some interesting items we can all afford to buy. These items range from venus fly traps to a diamond candle. The great thing is that nothing will be over $30 dollars. There are something for everyone and also can make great interesting gifts to give.

venus fly trap
The first item I though would be kind of interesting is a Venus Flytrap which you can get at any plant store for about $8 dollars. This is a pretty cool plant to own not to mentions that it'll catch any flies you have. They do not require much care and be interesting piece to have around the house.
This a short video about the venus fly trap and its feeding in action.

A Slow cooker, although this is not the most interesting item it is a very helpful gadget. You can throw a bunch of stuff in it, turn it on, go to sleep, and then when you wake up you have a delicious meal. You can buy them at Walmart, target or online for as cheat as $25 dollars. They would also make a great mother day gift. My mom recently got one and she says she loves it, its also great for parties to keep food warm as guest help themselves.

The next thing is called Loot Crate, where you can subscribe for $13.37 per month and you get six to eight hand picked "geek-gamer" products. This is a pretty cool thing because its a surprise in every box. The items are usually for those who are geared towards video games, comics, and cartoon things.

Diamond Candles are candles that contain a ring worth anywhere form $10 to $5,000. These candles only cost about $25 dollars. There is the excitement of not knowing what ring you'll get and how much the ring is worth. Some people have been noted to have gotten $1,000 ring in their candle. Not to mention that the candle smells great too.

The last item I wanna talk about is "nature box" its been gaining popularity over the past few months. Nature box is a monthly subscription ranging from low as $20 dollars. Depending on how much you wanna spend there are also bigger box that range all the way up to $50 dollars a month. Every month nature box will send you a box with a bunch of different healthy snacks. These snack can range from taro chips, apple chips, trail mix bars, dried fruits, and some snacks you might no have even heard about.
Let me know in the comments below if you thought any of the stuff was interesting or you experience  if you bought one of the things i've talked about.

Random Products Week?!

These are things I came across this week and thought they were really interest. I'll be showing you things like giant gummy bears, magic pills to a hilarious poo-pourri commercial.

The thing is this giant gummy bears that is five pounds. It's equal to 1400 regular sized bears. They are available at www.vat19.com for around $36 dollars. You can also browse throughout their website and see all of their great unique items. Vat19.com's motto is "purveys of curiously awesome products", their website includes other items such as a space pen, usb metal desk fan, water candle kit, and so many great other things

This video is an advertisement for a toilet spray, "spritz the bowl before you go and no one else will ever know" is their saying. You can go on to their website to purchase their product at www.poopourri.com. A little background about their product is that its a "blend of essential oils that virtually eliminates bathroom odors," their "award winning before-you-go spray come in a variety of scents and sizes." So far they have sold 4,550,742 and counting. Pourri is not a chemical cover up, its based on aromatherapy principles, a few squirts into the bowl before-you-go forms a protective layer of essential oils that prevent stinky bathroom odors form showing up in the first place. This product has also received 4.8 out of a 5 stars on amazon.com.

Heres another tip for I found online for if you wanna clean you computer screen or tv. You should use a dry, soft, lint free cloth, preferably the micro fiver cleaning cloth that sometimes come with your tv or monitor. Then you can use a solution of mild soap and water if needed. Do not use windex or under the kitchen sink cleaners, they might damage your screen. You also do not want to use a hard cloth because that might damage/scratch your screen.  A solution you can use is warm water and a drop of dawn. This will require to use two towels, one that you dip into the solutions and the other for drying the screen.

This next item is called "Miracle berry tablets", the tablets last for about an hour and alter your taste buds so that anything sour taste sweet. You could eat a whole lemon like its an orange. Taste pineapple like you've never tasted. Enjoy pomegranate, persimmons, sour patch kids, sour cherry bomb, sour grapes, like you've never enjoyed before. This pac of tables cost for about $10 dollars.
The last thing I wanted to talk about is called the "LifeStraw." You can drink from basically any water source with the straw, fill container of unfiltered or gross water and drink from them on the go. If you're an outdoors person, hiker, backpacker, or survivalist, they're a must. They go for about $20 dollars on Amazon.

Let me know in the comments below if you guys have any of the products I talked about today and let me know what you think about them! Hope everyone has a great week too!

What To Watch?

Here are some of my favorite YoutTube clips that I've come across. They range from great unknown singing artist to some other hilarious people. Let me know in the comments below what you think of these clips.

This first clip is Christina Grimme singing "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus for an audition on the hit television show "The Voice". She does a great cover and makes this song her own by putting a twist on it. In the end all the judges are fighter for her to be on their team. Watch the clip to see who she ends up picking as her mentor!
This next clip feature another singer Holly Henry who is audition for The Voice and gives her audition cover of the song "The Scientist" by "Cold Play". She is a shy singer songwriter. Within the first couple of word one judge presses their button and wants her on their team. Just listen to the first couple second of her singing and its just magical. Eventually all four judges turn around and want her on their team.
This is an amazing clip from the show "Wheel of Fortune" as this contestant tries to solve the final puzzle. Its a three letter word and he only has 2 letters while he needs to figure out the puzzle. The category is "thing" so it could be anything. He manages to solve the puzzle in a few seconds and everyone is so amazed at how fast he solved the difficult phrase. The host Pat even jokes around and searches the contestant for any wire that he might have used to cheated. The host later goes on saying that it was one of the most amazing things he's ever seen while his entire time hosting the show.

One of the grossest shots ever made by my favorite Youtuber "tipsybartender". This shot is not your ordinary shot, although it does include vodka it also has a mix of other ingredients such as fries, a burger, coke and other interesting things. Watch the clip to see if "Sky" the host can get down this tricky shot!

Another drink created by tipsybartender is called the lava lamp. This is definitely more drinkable then the Kim Jong-Un shot. Watch the clip to see why they call this delicious drink the lava lamp.

This last clip is hilarious, a little background is a bunch of guys playing this game online where one person is a creature that tries to kill the rest of the players who are soldiers. As you will see one of the player begin to imitate Morgan Freeman and the rest of the players begin to burst out laughing.
I hope you found these clips entertaining as much as I did. If you have any funny youtube videos leave a link in the comments below.

Where Should I Eat?

Sidorak
Hawaii being a small island there are only so many places to eat. Here are some restaurants that I think everyone should try at least once. If you didn't know by looking at the pictures already, I love Korean barbecue!

The first place is called Sidorak which is located at 655 Keeaumoku Street, its a Korean restaurant that is very popular for their $19.95 all you can eat Korean bbq menu. They are also open 24 hours for those late night munchies. Be prepared to wait the restaurant is on the smaller side with a limited amount of of tables.

Honey Toast (Shokudo)
The next place is also very popular with the younger people, called Shokudo. Famous for their Honey toast dessert, which is a half a loaf of bread glazed with honey, ice cream and also your favorite toppings. As you can see by their dinning room its very extravagant and a perfect place for a fancy dinner. Most of their menu is family sharing style based and offer a variety of sushi's, unique drinks, and modern Japanese Cuisine.
Shokudo Dinning Room
Shokudo is located at 1585 Kapiolani Blvd, Ste 905. Although the price are on the higher side but nothing overly expense and you get great quality food as well. Make sure you make reservations for dinner because it does get very busy at nigh and can result in a long wait usually a minimum of 30mins with out a reservation and up to an 1 hour maximum.

Camellia
The next place is called Camellia Buffet located 930 McCully Street. They have an all you can eat Korean bbq buffet as well. Make sure you come for dinner because only dinner includes the soft serve machine dessert. Also be on the look out for a coupon in the Dinning out section in the news paper. This buffet offers the typical Korean bbq meats such as spicy pork, kalbi, vegetables, soups, and other delicious treats.

678 Grill
678
The next restaurant is called 678 owned by a famous Korean celebrity Kang Ho Don. You've probably seen the light up picture of him if you've drove past the restaurant before. 678 is located on 1726 Kapiolani Blvd and are also open till 2am on the weekends which makes it a great spot for after hour food. Their menu is also family style with a variety of high quality, and fresh meats. All meals come with banchan's which are the side dishes and they serve tea water instead of regular water.
Korean celebrity Kang Ho Dong

Gyu Kaku Grill

Gyu Kaku
Gyu Kaku is the last restaurant that I'm going to talk about. They are a Japanese yakiniku restaurant that offers a variety of meats, chickens, and other dishes. With multiple locations around Hawaii such as in Waikiki and at Kapiolani Blvd. They have great deals and variety of drinks during their happy hour specials. They desserts are also very unique and delicious, for example they have strips of mochi that you grill and they puff up and you eat them with ice cream and they also have the classic smores.

All of these restaurants are great choice to eat at with friends, family or who ever.
I hope  you like the places I've talked about and let me know if you liked them. Feel free to leave me a comment about anything else you would like me to talk about or any questions.

Coffee Craze!!!!

Wake up, coffee, work, coffee, go to bed, and repeat. Recently I’ve been on a coffee craze
having at least two cups of coffee a day, if not more sometimes. This has just started this past
week because I’ve been having to be at work 6:30 in the morning.

Luckily there’s Seattles Best
Coffee next door to where I work.
This coffee shop is on the smaller side and does have a limited menu because it is located in the
Outrigger Hotel in Waikiki. Although they do have lower prices than the well know Starbucks and
they give me discount which is another reason I go there. The type of coffee I usually get at
coffee shops are macchiato, frappe’s, latte’s or mocha’s.

So far I’ve really like this one drink
called “birthday cake latte”
here the description:
“SO, wait, you mean to tell me that I can sip on birthday cake any day of year? Sweet!
Go ahead – let your inner child loose and “celebrate” your birthday every day. Take a break from
your busy schedule and sip back in time with our delicious Birthday Cake Latte, topped with
vanillaflavored
whipped cream, white chocolate shavings and colorful sprinkles.
Why are you still here…? You don’t need your parents’ permission to indulge…”
If you wanna learn how to make the ice blended version here’s a video how!

Another coffee drink I’ve had is their “salted caramel mocha”

It was alright but not something I would crave to get again. The salt matched well with the sweet
caramel but I was just an okay drink. If you like salted caramel then this is the coffee drink for
you!

They recently came out with “red velvet cake mocha” and its looks/sounds delicious. I’ll probably
try this one later on too.

The last interesting drink I wanna talk about is called “smores mocha” which is exactly what it
sounds like. My coworker
got this one time and she said it was too sweet in the ice blended
version but I’ll probably get the hot version. Except the Seattles best coffee in the hotel doesnt
serve the hot one, only the ice blended one because of the limited menu.

If you get a chance you should try one of the coffee drinks I mention and you never know that

could be your new favorite drink!
